Whale Alert noticed several large transactions carried out by Ripple and several major exchanges, carrying close to 287 million XRP.
Popular cryptocurrency monitoring service Whale Alert has found that in the past 20 hours, Ripple fintech decacorn has transferred 286.5 million XRP tokens from many of the largest crypto exchanges, including Coinbase and Binance.
Details on these transactions from Whale Alert and analytics website Bithomp are as follows.
According to Whale Alert, which tracks large transfers of various cryptocurrencies, several major crypto exchanges (Coinbase, Binance, Huobi, Bitstamp, Bittrex, and Upbit), as well as blockchain technology provider Ripple, carried $310,783,408 in XRP. It took 11 transactions for participants to move such a large amount of XRP. Ripple transferred 45,737,504 XRP between its internal wallets and sent 20,000,000 XRP to Bitstamp exchange, the ODL platform in Luxembourg, in two transactions. A total of 55.7 million XRP was transferred by Ripple.
Bitstamp later moved 18 million XRP to Binance. The largest global digital crypto merchant also received 23,999,900 XRP in Ripple-owned RippleFoundation1 wallet.
The largest amount of crypto in a transaction was made by Coinbase, which moves the coin internally: 61,999,980 XRP ($70,899,304).
Upbit exchange sent 28.3 million XRP to the US-based Bittrex platform.
