Invesco Mutual Fund has applied to the Securities and Exchange Board of India to launch a mutual fund investing in blockchain companies.
The mutual fund experiences “very high” risk and primarily invests in Invesco’s Elwood Global Blockchain UCITS overseas exchange-traded fund ETF units, according to the filing.
According to the Economic Times report, 82% of ETFs bounced back from the regulator.
Atalanta-based Invesco has also filed an application with the US Securities and Exchange Commission to list the Bitcoin ETF.
