The other side of the coin is the consumption of water, electricity and products that has an impact on the environment. It is therefore essential to reduce these consumption items. A swimming pool equipped to save energy
Besides the basin design, this swimming pool uses eco-designed equipment that uses very little energy, and is structured around three axes.
1. A swimming pool pump for economical filtration
The block of filtration is equipped with a low-consumption pump that consumes five times less energy (given by the manufacturer) than a conventional filtration pump. Compatible with pools less than 36 m3, this pump can be associated with an electrolyser. However, the savings ofenergy announced are to be compared with the cost of the pump.
2. Solar to power electrical equipment
In order to drastically reduce electricity consumption, the pump can be connected to two photovoltaic panels. Correctly oriented, these compensate for the energy consumption of the pump.
