“This happens – added Pacifico – because the European Charter for Researchers has not yet been translated into law, approved in Europe in 2005, with a recommendation also wanted by the Italian University and research bodies, but still concretely not implemented. For Anief it must be implemented through a register of researchers with proven experience, from which universities should draw egr hiring for an indefinite period and not with contracts of up to 7 years as foreseen by the current proposal “.
“We are more than convinced that this should lead to stabilization of researchers – The European Court of Justice also tells us in a recent sentence – without forgetting the role that the research doctorate must have, which once again with this bill is not valued ”, underlines the President of Anief.
“It has been said for thirty years that the title must be used to access the management of the Public Administration and there is still no trace in this bill”, says Pacifico, assuring “these are all proposals that Anief will bring forward in the Senate: the fight against precariousness also at universities and research institutions is the first objective that the union wants to carry forward because it wants the Country invests in research and human resources, without dispersing them and avoiding the pussy of brains “.
