The latest analysis data shows that the leading altcoin is recovering towards the $3500 area after a recent drop as Ethereum whales receive more ETH.
On-chain data server Santiment reports that in the past 15 weeks, Ethereum whales have added massive amounts of ETH to their holdings. Top 10 ETH wallet supplies rise to 51-month highs
Santiment says that the top 10 whale-owned ETH wallets have seen a significant increase in the amount of ETH they hold. In the last 15 weeks, the amount of Ethereum stored in these cold wallets has risen to a 51-month high. These addresses currently hold 21.38% of the circulating Ethereum supply. This is the largest amount of ETH they have held since the beginning of May 2017.

Popular blockchain tracker Whale Alert reports that in the past 24 hours, crypto whales have exchanged a billion USD in Ethereum. More than six transactions, ranging from 15,000 ETH to a total of 33,000 ETH to 92,742 ETH, were noticed by the crypto tracker. In some, funds were moved to or from crypto exchanges (Binance, Gemini, etc.), but the majority were shifted between anonymous wallets of crypto whales.
