(Teleborsa) – In 2020 the contribution for the tax authorities provided by the various activities of the Customs and Monopoly Agency amounted to approx 62.4 billion euros.
This is the cumulative data provided by the Agency based on the results of tobacco, games, energy and alcohol and actual customs. In detail, from customs duties and VAT 11.99 billion were obtained from tobacconists 14.06 billion, from gaming (tax levy, tax profit and single tax) 7.24 billion.
The most conspicuous contribution comes from energy and alcohol, by way of excise and other minor taxes, equal to 29.10 billion euros.
