LG 55CX TV is displayed at less than 1200 € by Villatech, i.e. a lower price of 100 € compared to the price usually observed on our comparator (1300 €).
This television benefits from the best image quality from LG since it has the same processor as the most high-end models, LG ZX, GX and WX. It delivers a perfectly calibrated SDR and HDR image, infinite contrast, and offers very wide viewing angles. This television is compatible with HDMI 2.1 bringing a lot of additional features (VRR, ALLM, eARC). It is undoubtedly one of the best televisions on the market. The only criticism we could make concerns its reduced peak brightness in HDR, but this is the case on all Oled models. This 2020 model is now replaced by the LG 55C1, but the latter only offers marginal improvements and the LG 55CX remains very interesting especially at this price.

An alternative
The more interesting alternative is the Oled LG 55C1 TV, replacing the 55CX. A little more expensive, this model comes with webOS 6.0 with the new Game Optimizer menu which offers a little more detailed information on game mode settings, a slightly more powerful processor without really making the difference and a new remote control.
