(Teleborsa) – The Sardinia Region sent to Ministry for the ecological transition the list of works to be financed with the resources assigned to Sardinia as part of the Extract Plan for the mitigation of the hydrogeological risk 2021. The total of the resources assigned to the Region amounts to just over 12.5 million euros. This was announced by the President of the Region and Government Commissioner against hydrogeological instability, Christian Solinas: “Overcoming the logic of the emergency to concentrate forces, skills and resources on prevention. The Region is engaged in the important action of prevention, safeguard and protection of the environment with actions to make the regional territory safe.
“The episodes of instability hydrogeological which we have witnessed – continued the President – require the adoption of policies no longer focused on the aftermath, on the repair of the damage suffered, but on the identification of risk conditions and on the adoption of interventions that reduce or cancel the impact of any phenomena adverse. Therefore act with a view to forecast e prevention, he said, is the main road today ”. The start of the activities aimed at programming the resources assigned to Sardinia – added Solinas – will make it possible to complete interventions strategic according to a precise order of priority identified by the Government and is added to what has been achieved up to now for the safety of the entire regional territory.
Among interventions proposed the financing includes the road crossing of the bridge over the Flumini Durci stream in Villaputzu and the bridge over the Orune canal in Alghero, the elimination of the roof over the Riu Mortu canal in Furtei and the consolidation works on the North Western side of Monte Rosmarino in Buggerru .
