Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), one of the Ligue 1 teams, announced that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with crypto asset trading platform Crypto.com.
The partnership between PSG and Crypto.com will also include NFT releases on the company’s official proprietary NFT platform.
Due to the size of the deal, the platform decided to pay a large sponsorship fee using the local crypto asset CRO.
PSG has managed to reach the Ligue 1 championship 7 times in the last 9 years. The club also added star names such as Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos during this transfer period.
PSG executives, Marc Armstrong, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Crypto.com into the PSG family.
With this partnership, PSG proves once again that it is a pioneer in esports and digital. We are in a very exciting time for crypto assets and we look forward to working with Crypto.com to bring new experiences to all fans of the club.”
