(Teleborsa) – It grew faster thereto industrial production in the United Kingdom in July, doing better than expected, despite the stagnation of the manufacturing industry. The latest data released by the National Statistics Institute of Great Britain (ONS) indicate that the industrial production index recorded, in July, a increase of 1.2% on a monthly basisand compared to -0.7% the previous month, higher than + 0.4% expected.
The trend data record a 3.8% increase after + 8.3% in June, higher than + 3% of the consensus.
Stagnates the manufacturing production, that on a monthly basis there is no change significant compared to the expected + 0.1% and + 0.2% recorded in June. There annual variation record a +6%, in line with estimates, after the previous + 13.9%.
