Let’s take a look at the best current offers from Orange and its low cost subsidiary Sosh. Two very different approaches which clearly do not target the same type of customers.
The mobile plans of the former France Telecom are now divided into two entities: on the one hand Orange, the “premium” operator, with its rather expensive high-end plans, and on the other, Sosh, the little brother low cost with its packages without commitment.
Orange offers simple 4G plans, and others compatible with 5G. The prices are systematically valid for one year, with a commitment of the same duration. Obviously, the prices can seem particularly expensive, but the services are in tune, with in particular the possibilities of communications in many countries of the world. Note that you can lower the rating if you are an “open” customer, with a Livebox subscription in addition to your mobile plan.
Logically, Sosh has a very different approach from its parent company, with less expensive offers, without commitment and without price increases beyond the first year (apart from any arbitrary increases that sometimes occur after a few years such as could see it in some operators).
However, Sosh subscriptions generally offer a lower quantity of data / price ratio than competitors like RedBySFR or B & You, probably because the low cost operator relies on the very solid brand image of Orange. Sosh’s limited editions are also longer in time than those of its rivals, typically around a month.
