Samsung’s “M” range is very successful abroad and the firm even offers it directly in France. The next Galaxy M52 could thus work on the Galaxy A flower beds.
Originally intended for markets in South Asia, Samsung’s “M” range has made its way into the brand’s French online store. It benefits from constantly improving features, so it is not always easy to clearly distinguish it from the more affordable smartphones in the “A” range. The “M” are betting on fairly aggressive prices capable of competing with the Chinese giants in the sector, while maintaining Samsung’s brand image. With India being the preferred market for these models, each new arrival in the subcontinent is now being watched closely.

Samsung is indeed preparing to launch the Galaxy M52 5G very soon in this subcontinent and a lot of information has already been leaked about it. The South Korean has yet to release a release date, but leaker Ishan Agarwal has delivered renders of the smartphone to the site. MySmartPrice, as well as a technical sheet.
As we can see, the design of the device does not change much and is greatly inspired by the Galaxy M32, which we will publish the test very soon. We will therefore be entitled to a plastic finish with the ridged back characteristic of the range. Besides its appearance, it is the on-board hardware that amazes.
A (very) well-off smartphone
According to the sources cited, the Galaxy M52 would be equipped with a 6.7-inch Super Amoled panel in Full HD + definition (1080 x 2400 px). Protected by Gorilla Glass 5, the latter should be refreshed up to 120 Hz.

Under the hood, we could find a Snapdragon 778G coupled with 8 GB of RAM maximum and 128 GB of expandable storage via microSD. The implementation of this SoC, which we have already seen on the recent Motorola Edge 20, would therefore allow the smartphone to offer very good performance and to largely follow in the footsteps of the A52s 5G!
For photography, the M52 5G would opt for a triple photo module equipped with a main sensor of 64 Mpx, an ultra wide-angle of 12 Mpx and a depth sensor of 5 Mpx. A 32MP module would be housed in a punch in the front for selfies.
The battery capacity is not yet known, but it should be significant, bearing in mind that this is the main asset of the “M” range. That said, with a more demanding technical sheet, the autonomy could be less important than usual. A 15 W charger should in any case be included in the box and the whole would run on Android 11 with the One UI 3.1 overlay.
You will understand, the Galaxy M52 5G should sign a move upmarket and be of real interest in many markets other than India. We will therefore be following the release of this smartphone very closely, for which no price has yet been mentioned.
