Three names from the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey were dismissed by the decision of the President. The decision was published in the Official Gazette.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Central Bank Governor Şahap Kavcıoğlu met at Çankaya Mansion yesterday evening.
According to the decision signed by the President, the vice presidents of the Central Bank, Prof. Dr. Semih Tumen and Dr. Uğur Namık Küçük and Monetary Policy Committee Member Prof. Dr. Abdullah Yavaş was dismissed.
Only Taha Çakmak was appointed to replace the dismissed vice presidents. As a member of the Monetary Policy Committee, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tuna was brought.
