Voyager Digital, a cryptocurrency trading platform, has signed a partnership agreement with the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). NWSL is the US Women’s Soccer Professional League.
Voyager AnnouncementAccording to the report, Voyager will sign a multi-year contract with NWSL to become NWSL’s cryptocurrency partner. In addition to providing cryptocurrency education to NWSL players, it will also provide funds to the cryptocurrency accounts of NWSL registered players. NWSL has 12 teams with up to 312 registered players.
“Voyager’s investment in the league is revolutionary,” said Marla Messing, interim CEO of NWSL. “This is a partnership that includes direct funding for all players and education on the ongoing breakthrough changes in digital assets.”
As part of the deal, Voyager will select one player from each NWSL team as an ambassador to create crypto-related content.
