Never-before-seen works and photographs of the legendary rock band Nirvana will be auctioned in NFT format.
The auction will take place on February 20, the birthday of the band’s lead singer Kurt Cobain, who committed suicide on April 5, 1994.
The auction will feature 27 paintings and 15 never-before-seen artworks created from a series of photos taken by photographer Faith West during a concert in Philadelphia six days before the release of Nevermind on October 1, 1991.
According to some images showcased on Rarible, the collection will include black and white photos, as well as GIFs with some psychedelic color and editing.

The NFT Auction will be organized by Pop Legendz, known for their NFT work related to the music industry. The auction will start at 1 ETH and 67 ETH for GIFs. But the price will likely go much higher.
