Ringo Starr, a member of The Beatles, one of the most important music groups in the world, is stepping into the world of NFT. Julien’s Auction House in California will put the original NFT collection up for auction on Monday, June 13. The name of the collection: Ringo Starr NFT Collection – The Creative Mind of a Beatle.
A portion of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Lotus Foundation. Drummer had this to say about his decision to go into NFTs:
“I just wanted to be a drummer, but you never know where a new idea or path will take you. This new technology is so distant it inspired me and I loved creating these NFTs that combine my art and music. Who would have thought I would spread peace and love in MetaVerse.”
The auction will feature NFT artwork, exclusive original drum compositions and physical canvas prints signed by Starr. The auction is shaping up to be a versatile arts experience in addition to a venue for NFTs.

Darren Julien, CEO of the auction house, said:
“Ringo Starr is not only an international music icon but also an innovative auction legend. It has been a great honor and privilege for us to represent the incomparable Ringo Starr at his auctions and at the Beatles auctions that have set world records at Julien’s in recent years.”
