Solana’s developer team introduced mobile phone focused on web3.
Solana Labs CEO Anatoly Yakovenko introduced his new Android phone called Saga. The team is developing a web3-focused device that extends from NFT markets to decentralized trading platforms.
The designed phone will have a 6.6-inch screen and 512GB of memory. In addition, there will be special key security measures inside the device.
This breakthrough into the mobile industry brought Yakovenko to work as an engineer at Qualcomm in the past.
Solana co-founder Yakovenko used the following statements on the subject:
Saga is a product of Solana Mobile, a new subsidiary of Solana Labs. In addition to Saga, Solana Mobile will offer developers a toolset for building mobile-first crypto apps on the Solana blockchain.
The value of the device is estimated to be around $1000. The phone is scheduled to launch in early 2023.
