An explanation came from the founder for the delays in Cardano’s expected Vasil hard fork upgrade. Cardano, has postponed its date for the upgrade of the highly anticipated Vasil hard fork several times. With the delays increasing, Cardano’s CEO and founder, Charles Hoskinson, made a statement.
Charles Hoskinson, took to the camera on his YouTube channel to tell what happened during the updates. Hoskinson stated that there will be no further delays in his speech regarding the Vasil hard fork upgrade.
Cardano Founder: Vasil Hard Fork Upgrade Won’t Be Delayed
A change was made to the timeline of the Cardano Vasil hard fork in June. With this change, the scheduled date was the last week of July. After the testnet hard fork in July, it was stated that exchanges and SPOs needed at least four more weeks to test, resulting in increased delays.
Kevin Hammond, one of the managers of IOG, at the Cardano 360 event held in the past period, said that the delays were experienced in order to be able to test more.
