The entry-level is a strategic sector and each manufacturer must offer an inexpensive device. Chinese manufacturers are having a field day and Vivo is also preparing to market an affordable mobile called Y02s. The brand unveiled this smartphone inadvertently for a few hours on its site. Enough for the most important information to be revealed.
As one might expect, it will not be a thunderbolt of war. We will be entitled to a 6.51-inch LCD screen offering an image refresh rate of up to 60 Hz. No additional information on the latter has been communicated, but we can expect an HD display ( 720p).
We note the presence of a notch in the shape of a drop of water, which gives a somewhat outdated appearance to the whole. It houses a 5MP selfie sensor. The back sports a coating that mimics polished glass and feels soft to the touch. Note the absence of a fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, Vivo opted for a MediaTek Helio P35 chip paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. A modest configuration to say the least, which should be enough for multitasking, but not really for gaming.
A finding shared in photos since the Y02s has a single 8 Mpx back sensor which overlooks a Led flash. If it is of the same bill as that of the Realme Narzo 50i Prime, you should not expect high quality shots.
On the other hand, we should enjoy excellent autonomy, as is often the case with this type of device. It has a 5000 mAh battery compatible with 10 W recharging. It will therefore take a long time to empty it… and probably a long time to fill it up. Pricing and release date have yet to be announced. Two colors should be available: black and blue.
