Good news came from the centralized exchange Binance, to the decentralized finance protocol Curve Finance, whose front end was seized and assets worth more than $550,000 were stolen recently. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao tweeted that they seized about 83% of the stolen $570,000 fund.
“He thinks we can’t watch”
Stating that the funds were frozen on his Twitter account, “CZ” used the following statements:
“Binance seized and froze $450,000, 83 percent of the funds stolen from Curve. Discussions are ongoing about returning the funds to users. The hacker continues to send funds to Binance in various ways. He thinks we can’t follow him and catch him.”
As it will be remembered, hackers copied Curve’s official website and directed users to the other copy website they created.
