The applications for the request for the monthly contribution in favor of the single-earner or unemployed parents con children with disabilities. Applications for the bonus, which varies from 150 to 500 euros per month based on the number of disabled children, must be sent to INPS until March 31, 2023.
Disabled children bonus, to whom it belongs
The contribution is due to single-parent families with dependent children with at least 60% disability. The parent must be unemployed or single earner.
The disbursement is independent of the ownership of the house, can be combined with the basic income and does not contribute to the formation of the total income.
The INPS specifies the characteristics of the unemployed parent:
- the unemployed person
- the person whose income from employment does not exceed 8,145 euros per year or from self-employment 4,800 euros per year.
Per single-earner parent means an individual who derives all of his income exclusively from work, even if performed in favor of a plurality of employers, or is the recipient of a social security pension treatment.
Disabled children bonus, how much is it due
The amount of the contribution varies according to the number of disabled dependent children:
- it is equal to 150 euros per month in the case of a disabled child;
- 300 euros per month in the case of two children;
- 500 euros per month if there are more than two children.
Disabled children bonus, how to apply
The application can be submitted by the parent who, at the time of submission, is cumulatively in possession of the following requirements:
- be resident in Italy;
- have a valid ISEE value not exceeding 3,000 euros;
- be unemployed or single-earner and part of a single-parent household;
- be part of a family unit, as defined for ISEE purposes, in which there are dependent children with a recognized disability of no less than 60%.
The application must be submitted:
- to INPS through the online service “Contribution to parents with children with disabilities”, which also allows you to view the result;
- through the Contact Center on 803 164 (free from a landline) or 06 164 164 from a mobile network;
- to patronage bodies, through the telematic services offered by them.
