Funds have been set aside for the a good patentthe measure decided by Mario Draghi’s government which provides for thedisbursement of vouchers to young people who get a heavy vehicle driving licence.
This is 25.3 million euros intended for young people between eighteen and thirty-five who want to obtain a driving license or professional qualifications for driving vehicles intended for the exercise of the activity of road haulage of people and goods.
The voucher covers up to 80% of the expenses incurred, it has an amount not exceeding 2.500 euro and must be used within the period included between July 1, 2022 and December 31, 2026
Driving license bonus, the funds
25.3 million euros have been allocated for the period from 1 July 2022 to 31 December 2026. In detail:
- 3.7 million euros are allocated for the year 2022
- 5.4 million euros for each of the years from 2023 to 2026.
Driving license bonus, who is it for?
The benefit is intended for Italian and European citizens aged between between 18 and 35 years old who intend to obtain the type C, C1, CE, C1E, D, D1, DE and D1E driving license or the driver qualification card (Cqc).
Driving license bonus, how much is it?
The driving license bonus is an equal contribution 80% of the expenditure incurred and in any case of an amount not exceeding 2,500 euros.
It can only be requested oncedoes not constitute taxable income of the beneficiary and does not result in the calculation of the ISEE value.
Driving license bonus, how to apply
The platform on which to request the transport bonus will be active from 6 February for driving schools and from 13 February for the rest of the users at this address.
To submit an application, you will need to register by proceeding with authentication via Spid, Cie or Cns.
The bonus, payable only once, will be granted to the applicants in chronological order and until the funds made available are exhausted for each of the years in which the measure will be implemented.
License bonus, the deadline
The voucher must be used by the beneficiary no later than 60 days from its issue, but it is not the only deadline to take into consideration. The professional qualifications, driving licenses or driver’s qualification card must be obtained within 18 months of using the concession.
Within 30 days of the issuance of the invoice which shows the value of the voucher, the driving school will see the value of the voucher paid. Any different use of the voucher will result in the cancellation of the same driving school from the platform, except for any other sanctions.
