Major fundraising is gradually resuming in French Tech. After raising 100 million euros from Pasqal, the start-up specializing in quantum computing, the Welcome to the Jungle recruitment platform has just completed a new funding round of 50 million euros.
On this occasion, the company welcomes to its capital Blisce, the fund of the French entrepreneur and philanthropist Alexandre Mars, and Kostogri, the investment company of Nicolas Béraud, the boss of Betclic, as well as the ADP group (Aéroports de Paris ), Cipio Partners and Raise Sherpas. At the same time, Revaia, XAnge and Bpifrance, via its Digital Venture fund, have agreed to return to pot.
30 million euros in recurring annual revenue
Launched in 2015 by Bertrand Uzeel and Jérémy Clédat, the company has worked to make job search more pleasant for candidates, while offering a range of services to companies to improve their attractiveness. With its approach, Welcome to the Jungle claims to have passed the milestone of 30 million euros in annual recurring revenue (ARR) at the end of 2022 and boasts more than 5,000 customers who can post job offers and develop their employer brand on the platform. in exchange for a paid subscription. It also indicates that its platform is visited by nearly 3 million unique visitors per month.
The company plans to use its new funding to expand internationally, including in the United States. In this sense, it will open an office in New York. The company also plans to recruit around fifty employees, including around fifteen for its American branch, and deploy new functionalities to enrich its platform.
