Marshall wants to rock you with his new Middleton speaker

Shortly after the Willen and the Emberton II, Marshall continues to expand its range of Bluetooth speakers with a new, more imposing, but also more powerful model: the Middleton. This takes up the aesthetic codes of the Emberton II and the emblematic look specific to Marshall in a more cumbersome template (10.9 x 23 x 9.5 cm for 1.8 kg). The enclosure is thus surrounded by a non-slip surface with a Tolex effect and has two grilles protecting the loudspeakers. Robustness is always required, in particular thanks to an IP67 certification demonstrating resistance to immersion in water, dust and sand. The adventurous aspect is reinforced by the presence of a carrying strap.

Who says bigger size, says increased power. The Middleton is thus equipped with four loudspeakers, against two on the Emberton II, still supported by passive radiators. Marshall promises powerful sound and total immersion thanks to a 360° stereophonic configuration. A physiological equalization function is also included to allow an optimal musical experience whatever the listening volume.

Like the Emberton II, the Middleton has a joystick on top to control playback. Marshall has also added buttons to manage the treble and bass level without having to go through the application. On the autonomy side, the Middleton promises to stay awake for 20 hours, but still requires 4.5 hours for a full recharge. It can also be used as a powerbank in case your smartphone runs out of juice. Finally, the Stack mode allows you to combine several Middletons to obtain a more powerful rendering.

The Middleton is already available, in black or white, at an indicative price of €299.
