North Carolina Public Disturbed by Mining Activities
Locals in the rural North Carolina state of Murphy are uncomfortable with the cryptocurrency mining facility located nearby. According to the statements made, the public is suffering from the noise made by the mining facility.
Mike Lugiewicz, a resident of the town, stated that he was disturbed by the cryptocurrency mining facility, which is only 150 meters from his home. Lugiweicz also stated that the mining company moved to another region due to its activities.
Mike Lugiewicz said in a statement on the subject:
“We are experiencing unrest due to crypto mining facilities located near us. We don’t know what to do about it, but as a community, we are experiencing the negative effects of the facilities in our region and we are trying to announce it.”
While facilities in China were closed due to the possible environmental effects of cryptocurrency mining, the activities of companies in the USA became widespread.
