After The One and The Three, Klipsch’s Heritage Wireless series returns to our labs, this time with a pair of bookshelf speakers: The Sixes. Just like the other products in the range, this model wants to take us on a journey in the past with its vintage design, while offering all the modern connection possibilities, except the multiroom. The Sixes are a pair of active speakers that impress with their size and power. They can also count on a wide variety of connections. Nevertheless, we would have really liked better management of the bass, especially with such a descent into the extreme bass.
Points forts
- Very deep bass.
- Good general accuracy.
- Very high headroom/low distortion.
- Serious and robust construction.
- Easy to use.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

For a first in active speakers, Triangle signs a great success with its Elara LN01A. However, switching to active has some consequences on the sound reproduction, especially in the high mids/treble. The more scintillating coloration in this part of the spectrum makes listening less smooth, costing it the ultimate star.
