The Hi-Fi loudspeaker is Focal’s core business. Thanks to the loan of a generous reader, we were able to get our hands on the Aria 936, a 3-way column speaker from the latest renewal of the range to date. Without further ado, let’s find out what it has to offer.

A successful bet for Focal and its Aria 936. The loudspeaker offers a manufacturing quality and a listening experience that really lives up to what is expected of a model of this type. Apart from a slight lack of impact in the bass, we cannot objectively reproach anything else; the rest is up to your listening preferences. Special mention for the spatialization and the feeling of proximity, both remarkable.

Weak points

• Small lack of impact in the bass.
