Last month, Philips unveiled its new range of Hue Candle connected lights. The Hue Candle White and Color Ambiance is a “candle” bulb with an E14 base, capable of diffusing white (warm and cold) as well as colored lighting.
The Hue Candle White and Color shines with its light performance. The quality of light is there, the IRCs are irreproachable and the spectrum is very clear. Configuration and use are intuitive, as is the application, which is also rich. What more ? More brightness? The candle format of the Hue Candle is precisely designed for a warm, cozy and subdued lighting atmosphere.
Points forts
- Use of Wi-Fi more advantageous than Bluetooth.
- Very pleasant configuration and use.
- Perfect light quality.
- Excellent CRI in warm and cool white.
- Intuitive and ergonomic application.
Weak points
- Brightness / consumption ratio due to the candle bulb.
- The application requires a lot (too much?) of updates.
NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).
