StoryCo has raised $6 million in investment to bring storytelling to Web3 and decentralize it.
Web3 storytelling platform StoryCo announced in a statement that the company has received a $6 million seed investment.
Web3 Storytelling Platform Aims to Offer Another Experience
The investment round, in which StorCo participated, was led by crypto investment firms Collab + Currency and Patron, with participation from executives at Blockchange Ventures, Flamingo DAO and United Talent Agency, and William Morris’s Endeavour.
StoryCo also announced its project, The Disco Ball, which it aims to deliver the first narrative experience to be released in 2023. With a StoryPass NFT, community members will be able to access pre-release content and solve puzzles, find artifacts, and collectively create the narrative experience.
Founders Justin and JP Alanís said in a press release that they hope bringing Hollywood to Web3 will help reduce initial challenges and encourage the community around immersive, interactive storytelling.
