American investment bank JPMorgan stated that 72 percent of corporate business names surveyed are skeptical of cryptocurrencies.
The year 2022, in which major collapses and bankruptcies took place, also fueled feelings of fear and suspicion. In this context, crypto money investors began to take their steps more carefully. This bear market effect also reduced the volume entering risky asset investments. JPMorgan, which conducted a survey on the crypto industry, stated that 72 percent of the corporate names surveyed do not approach cryptocurrencies.
JPMorgan Measures Institutions’ Approach to Crypto
American bank JPMorgan has released the seventh edition of its e-Trading Edit, in which it evaluates the approach of institutions to cryptocurrencies.
This yearly survey was conducted in the light of technical developments and macroeconomic factors. The survey included 835 corporate trade names from 60 different global locations. This survey also revealed crypto hesitations among corporate names.
Only 14 percent of the names surveyed stated that they will continue to trade in cryptocurrencies this year. On the other hand, 72 percent stated that they do not have any plans to trade cryptocurrencies. The remaining 14 percent stated that they could enter the crypto money sector in the coming years, although not in this period.
