Flagship among flagships, the Galaxy S22 Ultra stands alone in Samsung’s new series. If it shares most of its characteristics with the Galaxy S22 and S22 +, it is also Note thanks to the integration of a stylus.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra gave us a hard time during its test. Announced success thanks to its stunning screen, its integrated stylus and multiple photo sensors, it grabs our fifth star thanks to its very good durability score, carried by its promise of software updates for four years. This masks some disparities in terms of real performance: its Exynos 2200 is not quite (at the time of its release at least) at the expected level, and its promises related to night photography are only partly kept . If this is a very good versatile and enduring smartphone as a whole, which finally brings the qualities of a Galaxy Note to a Galaxy S, it makes concessions that are difficult to forget in its price segment.
