The Dyson V11 Extra is an improvement on the Dyson V11 Absolute. The only difference is its removable battery. We must therefore expect performance similar in all respects to that of its predecessor.
The idea of the removable battery allows the Dyson V11 Absolute Extra to extend cleaning sessions. If we would have appreciated a slightly more practical system for extracting and replacing the battery, this does not detract from the intrinsic qualities of the Dyson V11 Absolute. With its screen which provides practical information, the High Torque brush which automatically adapts the suction power and the Point & Shoot system which ensures cleaning in good conditions, we really have nothing to reproach this stick vacuum cleaner which also provides excellent suction performance.

An alternative
The V15 Detect has the same advantages as the V15 Detect Absolute. Can’t fault it for suction, filtration or maintenance; the Holy Trinity of the stick vacuum cleaner. On the other hand, the defects are also the same and the V15 Detect is therefore rather heavy and not very durable in boost mode. In a nutshell, if we can regret the absence of the brush equipped with the laser, in absolute terms, the single classic brush supplied with this version is more than enough, even on hard floors and the V15 Detect remains an excellent vacuum cleaner -broom.
