Corsair’s EX100U is undoubtedly one of the best portable SSDs around. It not only offers a compact design that makes it easy to transport, but also excellent write and read speeds. In short, everything you expect from a portable SSD; it just lacks a USB-A adapter for added versatility.
An alternative
The Transcend ESD380C is a successful portable SSD. It grants very fast speeds in both reading and writing. Be careful however, the USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2 standard is currently not very widespread and it will in reality be difficult to approach the 2 GB / s promised by the manufacturer. Its compact size and its rubber protection are otherwise a significant asset that allows it to be transported anywhere in safety.
