Despite a fanfare launch, rumors suggest that sales of the S23 range are not as satisfactory as expected. As always, it is advisable to take the following information with a grain of salt.
The leaker Revegnus, often well informed about the Korean firm, predicts that sales in the second quarter (April to June 2023) should drop by 20% compared to the Galaxy S22 series. Fans of the brand would indeed have responded to the opening of sales, but the craze would have quickly subsided with the general public.

A complicated situation for Samsung, which has nevertheless delivered three high quality models. Faced with this drop in sales, the South Korean giant would have decided to bring forward the launch of its Galaxy S23 FE.
Historically, Fan Edition models have always been very successful. The reason is simple: they take up a good part of the technical data sheet of the standard version, while significantly reducing its price. Samsung skipped the FE version when it released the Galaxy S22s, but that shouldn’t be the case this time around.

On the contrary, while the firm intended to focus on its Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 to revive the dynamic, the leaker believes that it would have changed its short-term objective. The Galaxy S23 FE could indeed be launched on the market before the two folding ones, which should be presented during the month of July for a release around August. It must be said that the novelties that they embark seem once again quite limited.
A still mysterious technical sheet
This more affordable version of the Galaxy S23 could launch as early as July, or even earlier. The technical sheet of the latter has already caused a lot of ink to flow, but remains in the state of rumor and must be apprehended with large tweezers.

The mobile could run under Exynos 2200, which is the SoC used by the standard Galaxy S22. A risky choice as the performance of the latter had disappointed last year. Everything would be accompanied by 6 to 8 GB of RAM, a 4500 mAh battery and a 50 Mpx main sensor. There are only a few more weeks to wait to find out if these rumors are true.
