Coca-Cola Chooses Coinbase’s Base Network for Its NFT Collection

Coca Cola has now joined the list of companies that have entered the world of NFTs. The company will launch its NFT collection created on Base Network as part of the “Summer on Chain” initiative, which Coinbase made publicly available last week.

While the Coinbase exchange also made a statement on the subject, the announcement said, “Coca-Cola runs the Global Masterpiece campaign on-chain with several renowned artists.”

The collection, titled Masterpieces, also includes “The Scream” by renowned artist Edvard Munch.

While Coca-Cola is the biggest company to come to Base with this NFT move, it is said that several more significant NFT projects will be coming to Base in August.

This NFT collection is also very important for big companies to move into the digital realm and interact with this world. The collection, which includes well-known artists such as Aket from France and Fatma Ramadan from Egypt, will reach not only art galleries but the whole world.

As will be recalled, BASE last week on August 9th switched to the mainnet and was made available to the general public. A beta version of the Ethereum Layer 2 network, which currently houses over 100 decentralized applications, was also launched in February.
