Ledger integrates with PayPal, giving customers in the US the ability to buy bitcoin and ethereum. Crypto security specialist Ledger has unveiled a new integration that allows US users to buy cryptos such as bitcoin, ether and litecoin using their PayPal account.

The Paris-based blockchain company said that US Ledger Live users can receive crypto without authentication if they have previously purchased digital currency with PayPal, subject to applicable state laws. In his statement, Pascal Gauthier, CEO of Ledger, made the following statement:
“PayPal and Ledger take a ubiquitous user-centric approach to secure and fast transactions. Ledger aims to simplify the crypto world, while PayPal aims to make money movement simple, reliable and affordable.
Their interest in the crypto sector is growing with the increase in interest from both Ledger and PayPal. PayPal introduced an American stablecoin, while Ledger launched a network called TradeLink for institutional trading. Founded in 2014 and particularly known for its hardware wallets, Ledger is one of the largest crypto businesses in Europe.
