On October 18, the strike in Rome did not include Atac and RomaTpl public transport.

Romans can breathe a sigh of relief today. In fact, Rome’s public transport did not participate in the general strike today, Friday 18 October. Hence buses, metros and trams run regularly across the capital today without any modifications or cancellations. Let’s take a closer look at the details.

With an official note, the Municipality of Rome explained that today, Friday 18 October, a national general strike has been declared.attack and the private operators who manage the Roman peripheral lines, as well Cottrellno declarations of agitation have been received from trade unions.

Train strike on October 18

Exception concerns only Trentino Transport. The Cub Trento union has in fact joined the 24-hour national general strike announced by SI Cobas. Today the traveling staff and ticket office workers of Trentino Trasporti SPA Service Guarantee Only during the time slot:

  • 5.30 to 8.30
  • 4 pm to 7 pm

Trips initiated within the guaranteed service timeslot, and not yet completed, will be performed as follows:

  • Civic service/Trento-Sardagna cable car: continue to the terminus
  • Extra-urban*/railway service (Trento-Malè-Mezzana and Trento-Borgo-Bassano railways): continue until the journey is complete.

The service will resume as normal from Saturday, October 19.
