Enco X3: Oppo clones the premium Buds Pro 3 headphones from OnePlus.

Along with the launch of the Find X8 smartphone, the new high-end Oppo Enco X3 headphones were introduced on the Chinese version of the manufacturer’s website. Almost all of their specifications were already leaked this summer.

Both in design and performance, the Enco X3 looks like a carbon copy of OnePlus’ Buds Pro 3. Not surprising, knowing that Oppo also owns the OnePlus and Realme brands. However, one could have hoped for a slight difference between the two pairs of headphones, as was the case between the Enco X2 and the Buds Pro 2.

Dyne Audio audiophile sound architecture and fantastic noise reduction

Like OnePlus’ latest headphones, the Enco X3 benefits from several improvements over its predecessor. The Chinese brand notably announces IP55 certification, native audio and the arrival of an AI noise reduction system for more intelligible phone calls. The Enco X3 will also be able to actively reduce ambient noise. Up to 50 dB “The performances we already know are very promising, while its Buds Pro 3 clone struggles to exceed 20 dB according to our tests.

While it still supports AAC, SBC and LDHC 5.0 codecs, the Enco X3 Bluetooth receiver has been upgraded to version 5.4. Furthermore, even if Oppo’s writings in Mandarin don’t allow us to confirm it, the headphones should offer 6 hours of battery life with ANC enabled.

Still up to Dynaudio, the Enco 6mm audio part.

No pricing has been announced for the Enco X3 yet, but Oppo is already able to stock them in black and off-white finishes. Considering the Buds Pro 3’s positioning, you’ll have to pay around €200 to get them.
