After Piccolo, Krups Dolce Gusto is launching its little sister for the start of the school year. Logically called the Piccolo XS, we saw it a while back. Exam time has come.

The Piccolo XS is quite small and doesn’t offer basic options like automatic coffee shut-off. That being said, we still appreciate its ease of use and cleaning. Also, the wide variety of capsules offered is an asset. However, we regret that this machine cannot produce two coffees simultaneously. Also, it splashes on the work surface when preparing drinks. Brewing that will start even if there is not enough water in the tank to get potable coffee. The Sharm Piccolo XS is therefore easy to use but requires supervision.
