Of the 49 people infected with the strain of bacteria, 10 have been hospitalized and one has died, US health officials said Tuesday evening. These food poisonings affected a total of ten states in the western United States. McDonald’s shares have already fallen 9% since the incident was announced.

A bacteria known to cause a health crisis.
E. coli is a bacteria that naturally lives in the intestines of humans and animals. Although most strains are harmless, some toxins can cause serious illness or death in people.
To avoid infection, it is important to follow certain food safety rules: cooking meat at the proper temperature, avoiding unpasteurized dairy products, washing fruits and vegetables thoroughly, and before and after cooking. I wash my hands.

The incident came after Donald Trump impersonated a McDonald’s employee to mock his direct presidential rival, Kamala Harris.
