Blade Will he finally see the light of day? Nothing is less certain, especially since The Walt Disney Company just changed its release schedule and removed the Marvel movie from next year’s schedule. The studio took the opportunity to announce three MCU installments for 2028. We take stock.
War action in the MCU
The film was announced in 2019. Blade Failures never stop. While it lost its director Yann Demange last June, the feature film was postponed indefinitely and even pushed back its release date to November 5, 2025.
In a major shake-up of their calendar, Disney decided to replace it with this date. Predator: BadlandsA remake of the acclaimed franchise directed by Dan Trachtenberg the victim in 2022, and which earned a theatrical release here.

But that’s not the only modification to the larger MCU calendar, as the studio has added three untitled Marvel films to its schedule, and on the following (US) dates:
- Untitled Marvel Movie – February 18, 2028
- Untitled Marvel Movie – May 5, 2028
- Untitled Marvel Movie – November 10, 2028.
All three of these mysterious films were added to a long list of future Marvel productions, few of which are ultimately known today. As a reminder, today’s MCU schedule is as follows:
- Captain America: Brave New World – 12 February 2025
- Thunderbolts * – 30 April 2025
- Fantastic Four – 23 July 2025
- Untitled Marvel Movie – February 13, 2026
- Avengers: Judgment Day – 29 April 2026
- Untitled Marvel Movie – November 6, 2026
- Avengers: Secret Wars – May 5, 2027
- Untitled Marvel Movie – July 21, 2027
- Untitled Marvel Movie – November 3, 2027

While we wait for Marvel Studios and Disney to finally unveil these productions (probably at the next Comic-Con), we know that several projects are already in the pipeline and could take these release dates.
These would be possible films. Armor WarsThe following Shang Chiand Doctor Strange 3a possible feature film on The Scarlet Witchor even a reboot of The X-Men.
Note that Spider-Man 4 Tom Holland is not part of this calendar as it is distributed by Sony. The film is scheduled to shoot in summer 2025 and is likely to be released between Christmas 2026. Avengers: Judgment Day etc Avengers: Secret Wars.
