If the Z6 III’s image definition is on par with its predecessor – and the image quality in photos with it – Nikon’s mid-range 24x36mm body makes a very clear improvement. From the viewfinder to the adjustable screen via AF tracking, burst or video potential, the Z6 III puts Nikon’s mid-range back in the running.

Weak points
-
There is no noticeable improvement in image quality.
-
Autonomy is slightly reduced.
-
Noticeable price increase.
In 2024, the Z6 III’s 24MP seems barely adequate. However, we must admit that Nikon has pulled off a nice coup by offering a responsive body capable of sports or action photos, without carrying the weight/bulk of its bigger brothers the Z8 and Z9. With its beautiful viewfinder and its excellent manufacturing quality, it offers real comfort of use and its video capabilities make it very versatile and attractive despite the significant increase in price.

It’s hard not to fall in love with the Nikon Z f. Its shape Vintage is successful. And even if it lacks a more prominent grip for a better feel with longer and heavier optics, the ergonomics of this 24×36 hybrid are winning – dial excess isn’t going to please everyone. Inside, Nikon’s know-how is in full swing: image quality is great, autofocus is remarkably responsive and accurate, and 8 IL stabilization is a major asset. You’ll also appreciate some welcome new features. Pixel shift A good monochrome mode for amateurs as well as very high definition images.
