With its 55G4 television, the 55-inch (140 cm) version of the 65G4 we tested, LG is back with a Meta 2.0 panel that promises to be even brighter in 2023. We get all the information about the brand. A nice and clean design in TV terms as well.

With its 55G4, the 55-inch (140 cm) version of the 65G4 we tested, LG improved on its Oled G3 television, already a standard. The formula is not fundamentally different, but we get all the features of the G range with a careful design, excellent image quality in SDR and HDR (with a light peak that is even higher than in the 2023) and everything that The party Need to play in good conditions. As a bonus, the G4 uses very little and the webOS interface has been updated for five years now. The only regret is that the manufacturer could have provided a base for more versatility, but LG has once again created a high-end OLED TV.

The LG 55G3 — the 55-inch (140 cm) version of the LG 65G3 we tested — is the best TV tested in our lab to date. It combines all the advantages of Oled technology (contrast, accuracy, responsiveness, viewing angles) with the high brightness of a Mini-Led model. Even an anti-reflective filter is more effective. If we look closely, we can see minor flaws, such as less colorimetric coverage compared to QD-Oled televisions, a stand sold as an option or a fairly standard remote control. The fact is that this television is perfect for all uses (movies, series, video games, TV and sports) at the moment.
