The application may seem a bit complicated.
Three opening detectors in the security kit complement the cameras and sirens. For around €350, this complete solution can protect an apartment, but would look a bit cramped for a larger house. The biggest drawback, in our view, comes from the need to place the siren in the same room as the camera. The price may also seem a bit high, especially compared to Xiaomi’s equivalent and slightly less sophisticated set. With its ease of installation and the still attractive design of its camera, this Netatmo pack will please anyone who wants to protect their home without necessarily The geek.
Note: The price drop reported is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged for the product by all merchants in the previous month, excluding in-store prices. with protective rules for those whose VAT policy is unclear (so-called “grey” stores, usually in the case of imports from China).
An alternative
Ring Alarm (2nd generation) is a complete, affordable and easy-to-install solution. If the layout of five modules might deter less tech-savvy users, the application guides them step-by-step and the process is completed in a snap. It is also due to the integration of Z-Wave that ensures the reliability and responsiveness of the system. Sending a simple push notification in the event of an intrusion may still seem a bit trivial, and a subscription to Ring Protect, which is used to automatically trigger the call, is relatively expensive.
