Filming for the third season is currently underway in Spain, in the regions of Galicia, Aragon, Catalonia and Valencia.

According to the official synopsis for these future episodes, “Season 3 follows Daryl Dixon and Carol Pelletier as they continue their journey to return home and to their loved ones. As they struggle to find their way home, their path changes them. It leads to remote areas with unknown conditions where they witness the various effects of the apocalypse.”
