The Polti Vaporetto SV450 Double is not only quick to preheat, but also very efficient. It’s one of the few cleaners that removes 100% of stains in our tests, and in a very short amount of time. The possibility to convert it to a “hand” cleaner at any time is very appreciated. In short, there isn’t much to complain about with this steam cleaner, except that its cable doesn’t offer a wide range of action. For €149, the Vaporetto SV450 Double’s quality/price ratio is undoubtedly great.
An alternative
With the SV220, Polti offers a versatile steam cleaner. Its portable format and power variator allow it to take off all types of surfaces. It overcomes all substances without wasting time. If its finish and its tank could be improved, the SV220 is nonetheless a device that perfectly fulfills its sole mission: cleaning.
