LiveWire partners with Kymco to create an insane maxi-electric scooter.

LiveWire is an American manufacturer and not just any American manufacturer, as it is the electric branch of Harley Davidson that will become an independent manufacturer in 2021 (our test of the S2 Del Mar is here). The brand has a few models in its catalog, but no maxi scooters till date.

For its part, Kymco offers two smaller models in the market, equivalent to 50 and 125 cm3. For bikers looking for an electric variant with pep, nothing is more desirable.

So the two manufacturers have decided to join forces to build a maxi-scooter based on the BMW CE-04.

The model, about which we know very little, will feature LiveWire’s S2 Aeroelectric powertrain. Part of the cycle is unknown. However, we do have a date: 2026. A year that, if the promises of various manufacturers are kept, threatens to be full of muscle electric proposals.
