Sony has spared no expense in making the HT-A7000 a very serious contender in the Dolby Atmos/DTS:X soundbar market (aside from the competing Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar). It particularly impresses with the breathtaking quality of its incredibly immersive virtual spatialization – regardless of the acoustic characteristics of the listening room. On the other hand, we can still find a little better in terms of pure dynamics and explosiveness of sound reproduction, especially with the Samsung HW-Q900A. It’s up to everyone where they place their priorities.
Note: The price cut reported is calculated by comparing the day’s lowest price with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product in the previous month, excluding in-store prices. with protective rules for those whose VAT policy is unclear (so-called “grey” stores, usually in the case of imports from China).
An alternative
Sennheiser never ceases to amaze us with its soundbars. Despite its small size, the Ambeo Soundbar Mini amazes with its ability to reproduce a wide and highly immersive soundstage. It benefits from precise and controlled sound reproduction that allows it to keep up with musical and cinematographic content equally easily. Its great versatility and plethora of connectivity features are also serious assets that almost make you forget about the poverty of onboard connectivity. Ultimately, the Ambeo Soundbar Mini has no reason to shy away from larger soundbars and stands as the queen of compact soundbars.
