With its careful design and pleasing finish, a well-defined Oled panel and Ryzen 7 processor, the Zenbook 14 Oled (UM3406) has solid arguments. It also retains its aluminum chassis and allows Asus to market an AMD version of its ultraportable.

By offering its ultraportables “powered” by AMD, Asus not only offers more choices, but also a solid, powerful configuration, which manages heat and its consumption well, even if Zenbook 14 Oled often wind up. It has good performance, good battery life, the screen is very comfortable, if not bright… for the rest, this is a quality ultraportable we’re dealing with. Instead the controlled price excuses its few minor failings.

The MacBook Air M3 (2024) maintains its chassis with an aesthetically pleasing, efficient, quiet and flawless finish. The processor offers a comfortable performance advantage with a real leap forward for the graphics segment. The addition of a memory card reader would be welcome, along with an increase in unified RAM to 16GB for this ultra-affordable model.
