Between the stacked sensor, AI co-processor for autofocus, extra burst and 8K recording stability, the Canon EOS R5 Mark II is a huge improvement that will please users of the first R5 who need more punch in AF. Burst We also welcome the integrated high-resolution mode in the case, which is more stable than the multi-shot mode, even if it doesn’t offer all the advantages. If only Canon hadn’t limited a few things (buffer memory, backlight controls, etc.), the EOS R5 II could have been a near-perfect body. It’s just the best, which is not bad!

The Nikon Z8 is a very impressive device. It renews all the developments of the Z9 and gets rid of the few “flaws” that can be attributed to the Japanese monoblock. It’s a specialist device, very versatile in both photography and video, that easily competes with the best sports and studio hybrids, all with an aggressive pricing policy. That being said, the Z8 is still heavier than its competition, especially for hybrids equipped with larger Nikon lenses. But once you’ve tasted it, it’s hard to do without.
